BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & PROCESS CAPABILITY STUDIES

Process Improvement Consulting:

  • Assessment of current processes identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Hands-on interactive sessions where we work with employees and process owners to map current processes.

  • Brainstorm various improvement scenarios for future-state processes. In this phase, employees and process owners can learn by doing, ensuring they are comfortable with new processes and technologies.

  • Providing clear and concise documentation such as process manuals, procedures, process maps, process flow charts, and work instructions.

  • Guiding the digital transformation transition to electronic quality management systems.

  • Establishing a support structure to address any questions or issues as employees adapt to new processes.

Optimizing the Capabilities of Business Processes:

Process capability studies provide our clients with the opportunity to understand how the Voice of the Process (Control Limits) compares with the Voice of the Customer (Specification Limits). This, for sure, helps them determine whether the process average must be shifted, re-centered or if the variation must be reduced.

In order to achieve this, our role is to work with our clients to determine the following:

  • Conduct analysis about Critical to Satisfaction (CTS) parameters to assess the areas of the product, service or process that is critical to the organization as a direct hit to their KPIs

  • Conduct analysis about customer requirements to assess the features of the product or service that are critical to their satisfaction whether it is a form, fit or function or interface point

  • Plan for the data collection, measurement and analysis criteria: this includes establishing the sample sizes, measurement methods, capability index values and improvement techniques

  • Improve the process to achieve higher capability indices that statistically prove the capability of the process to meet customer requirements: this could be done by improving the sigma level of the process to ensure that process control limits are well-contained within the customer specification limits or by centering the process on the target or the nominal value of the parameter under study
